Evergreeness India
Pachyphytum oviferum, the sugaralmond plant or moonstone, is a species of plant in the genus Pachyphytum. The meaning of the name Pachyphytum oviferum is thick plant bearing eggs. It comes from Mexico, in the rocky cliffs of the state of San Luis Potosi at 1200 meters altitude.
It handles low light and needs less water.
Although native to semi-desert areas of Central America, Mexico and northwestern South America, they still do remarkably well as indoor plants. Like many other small succulents, it's common to find them being grown in unusual and visually arty pots and containers.
Best plant to gift someone.
Package Contains Natural Plant With Pot
Echeveria require regular watering from spring to fall so you should water when the soil begins to dry out. You don't want to use the same amount of water in the winter. Watering the plant every one to two months should suffice.
The Echeveria succulent plant is just such a specimen, thriving on brief periods of neglect and low water and nutrients. Echeveria care is practically foolproof and grows well in either containers or toasty garden beds.
While shrunken, shriveled leaves indicate a need for water, soft, squishy leaves losing their color show damage from too much water.
Simply break off a leaf and place the wounded part of the leaf in a pot of cutting compost. Leave cuttings to take in a greenhouse or on a sunny windowsill and wait for a new plant to form at the base.
The lifespan of an Echeveria plant can range anywhere from 3 years to several decades depending on the variety, care, and growing conditions.
